Welcome to Family Health Center

    After almost 45 years serving the people of Fayette and Lee counties, I am announcing my retirement from family medicine.  My final day of seeing patients is April 30, 2024.  It has been a privilege and an honor to care for you and your family these many years. 

 
    When I moved to La Grange with my family in 1979, we were ready to settle in a town much smaller than Houston, centrally located , and close to a lake.  La Grange met those criteria, but turned out to be so much more.  Our boys were 8 and 2 years of age and growing up here has truly shaped who they have become. 

 
    My medical practice has consisted of delivering babies, assisting in surgery, emergency room call, hospital and nursing home rounds, football sideline medicine, and patient office visits.  Medicine is constantly changing and evolving.  From the Pearl Street clinic, to the Keilers clinic, and now the present facilities of La Grange / Giddings / Flatonia Family Health Centers, the practice has continued to grow and serve the communities of Fayette and Lee counties.  It has been a great honor to have been part of the progress. 

 
    Thank you for allowing me to serve you and for welcoming our family to this wonderful community so many years ago.  Your future medical needs will be well cared for by my capable and compassionate colleagues and staff.   

 
    Please, join me in celebrating this new chapter with an open public reception on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive, La Grange, TX. It would be a great honor to celebrate my retirement with my patients and colleagues.
